Birth Doula
I am committed to your health and the wellbeing of your growing family, available whenever needed throughout your entire pregnancy as well as after giving birth. I will be there to provide you with continuous physical, emotional and educational support, and answer any and all questions you may have. Service includes:
One interview at no charge
Two prenatal visits
Continuous email and text (8am-9pm) support from date of hire
24/7 on call starting at 37 weeks
Attendance at birth & immediate postpartum support (may be virtual due to hospital protocol)
One postpartum visit (within two weeks of delivery)
Package is $1500
Postpartum Doula
The major role of the postpartum doula is to help the family be able to rest and recover and to help families learn the skills and gain confidence they need to make a smooth adjustment. Whether this is your first baby or not, adding a new member to a family is a big adjustment. The day/evening services I provide include, but are not limited to: grocery shopping and errand running; infant care while parent rests; help with other children in the house; educating the new family in baby care and feeding methods following the pediatricians guidelines; light housekeeping; laundry and loading/unloading the dishwasher. All services are customized to your families needs and desires. Having a doula ensures that things are done in the manner you want.
Overnight care is also available. Let me help your family have a restful night so everyone can be better rested for the day.
Placenta Encapsulation
Benefits of placenta encapsulation may include a decrease in postpartum mood disorders, increased energy, a decrease in stress hormones, restoration of iron levels following bleeding after birth, shortened healing time and increased milk supply.
Takes place in your home over the course of 2 days (1.5-2 hours each) to ensure the most sanitary process.
